  1. All Riders/Teams need to organise their own support vehicle, with enough capacity to convey their team bikes and riders.

  2. Bike/Rider Insurance is recommended. Ambulance cover is also recommended.

  3. Please carry your own supplies:

    • First Aid Kit

    • Water: 4 litres per person (at a minimum), more if it is hot

    • Sunscreen

    • Waterproof Jacket

    • High Energy Snacks

    • Lunch (this can be purchased at some towns along the way if preferred)

    • Spare tubes that fit your tyres

    • Bike Pump

    • Tyre Levers

  4. Each Rider should carry their mobile phone.  Please program in the number for the Ride Coordinator on the day. This will be your contact point for any non-critical emergencies. In case of life threatening emergency always dial 000.

  5. Maps - Riders should download a copy of the Strava App (this is available for Apple and Android phones). This will enable you to download the ride maps with the precise route for both the Rail and Road options.  If you prefer a paper map you can enlarge and print off the maps from the Bike Ride Website. If anyone is having trouble with the maps please contact us for assistance.
